My Story…….

How I went from struggling Single Mom to business owner and lost it all!!

Only to learn that the real SECRET to success was not what most people are taught.  Learn how I can work less, make more and enjoy my family,  while being an entrepreneur and growing over a dozen streams of income.

Just 6 years ago, I was a full-time stay at home Mom.  I had gotten married right out of high school and never had college, a career or any future plans.  I was content driving a mini-van, running to soccer games, baking cupcakes for school, and living on a tight budget dedicating my life to my 3 kids. Until one day, my husband (who was in the military), came home from almost a year deployment.  He was home for just months, when things seemed to get worse and worse, until the day he got so angry, he pulled up in a U-haul, packed up his stuff and drove away.  I stood in the driveway in tears, not sure how we would survive.

I had no credit, no money, no skills, no experience, and no way to get decent work.  I became a waitress at the local golf course just to feed the family.  When this was not enough, we were forced out of our home, I needed to find a “REAL JOB”.  I worked on a resume, applied at every opportunity, and somehow I got lucky.  I got an interview for a major nation-wide bank.

This first interview turned into several, and I had to go in front of a panel of bank managers, directors and corporate executives to finally get offered a position as a “Banker.  Later, I found out I interviewed against over 360 people for just a few positions.  Then I find out…. I was being sent to months of banker school…..   I did not even know what a “Banker” did.  In my personal life I was learning to pay my own bills and my credit was so bad from the divorce I could not even get a checking account. So getting a real job seemed like a dream come true.

I was trained in credit, money, mortgages, loans and other finances.  Once I completed banker school, I was placed in a local branch to help clients.  I got paid for “selling” bank products, such as loans, checking accounts, mortgages,credit cards, lines of credit and so on.  My goal was to make sure the client put as much money in the bank, and borrowed the highest amount possible.  This was not difficult as the economy was exploding, each day people would enter the bank with checks in the hundreds of thousands.  When I asked, it was usually from Real Estate.

I quickly learned that the corporate world was not as glamorous as I had imagined.

Even after working at the Bank for almost a year,  I still could not get caught up on bills.   I desperately missed my children.  I worked long hours and returned home late in the evening, and usually worked on Saturdays. I felt that I got myself into a worse situation and could not figure out how to get out.  But as those big checks would show up at the bank each day, I thought Real Estate could be the answer to my problem.  If others were getting this type of money, I would get my Real Estate License.

Within a few months I got my license. A friend introduced me to Erik, a General Contractor in construction, who could help with fixing up properties to be re-sold.  He was interested in flipping, and this was going to be my first “sale” and get me out of that JOB that I felt was holding me back.  We started attending investor classes, workshops and looking for properties.   Over this process we became friends and he helped me on the days that I felt like giving up in life.  God must have put him in my life at this time because I am not sure I would have made it through all those challenges with work, starting a business, and 3 kids.   Within the year, we started dating and eventually we were investing and talking about marriage.

All of a sudden it seemed that everything in life fell into the right place.

Real Estate was booming, my business was growing, I quit the bank and returned home with my kids, Erik became part of my life, and we were investing all the profits into investments towards our future. I hired my first coach at this time, this was my first mindset shift on how to make money in any business.  I loved being a professional and working with real estate investors.  I started a large Real Estate investment club, was asked to speak at events in front of hundreds of people, and we helped others flip properties all over the United States.   Life was exciting and we were loving every minute of it.

Real-Life, Living Proof Story: After Years of Frustration, Single Mother From California Declares: “I Made More This Month Than I’ve Made All Year!” Here’s how Liz got her business to $20,000 a month, without getting a single loan, looking at any properties or even having to leave her house.

It was like a dream come true, but before we knew it, this all came to a quick stop when the real estate market crashed.  As the market crashed, we became desperate for any work we could find.  The same month we were married, we both had no work, no money, and a few months later we found out we were expecting a baby.   We were not sure how we were going to survive and we were willing to do anything for some income.

Erik ran ads on craigslist.com to do any type of work, I was desperately looking for any opportunity.  We made it over the next months,  day by day trying to keep the lights on and a roof over our head.  We worked for pennies of what we would have made just a few years earlier. One day my husband returned home from a long day painting. That day he had worked for a family who just bought a gorgeous house, owned expensive cars, traveled all the time and he noticed they never seemed to be working.

He had done work for them for awhile now and he finally decided to ask….

• How could they afford this lifestyle??
• How did they purchase a new home for Cash?
• Did they not notice the rest of the world was losing jobs, and homes were foreclosing all around us?
• What were they doing to make this kind of life?
  

They shared with him the debt free lifestyle, and they must have seen his motivation because they asked him to return another evening and bring his wife. Of course, I was skeptical and thought we were in for a scam.

But I knew we had nothing to lose, we had already lost everything.

I can still remember sitting in their living room, overlooking the pool and waterfall, we saw the twinkle of the city lights down the hill, and the palm trees swayed in the breeze. When they started talking, instantly I knew this time it was different.

All the things I thought I knew about making money were WRONG!!

Finally, I could see the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. They taught us about leverage. We learned how to use our time and very tiny amounts of money to build a large business. This business would pay residual checks each month and continue building as long as we wanted to work. This is what they had done, and we knew they had “cracked” the code.

Over the next several months we met many of their friends and family who have done the same. Even their son was making 5 and 6 figures monthly and he was only 23 years old!! We saw that this business was expanding in this economy and decided we wanted to expand our business and at the same time help other families the way this couple helped us. After learning so much and having a mindset change,  I looked back to my past 20 years, and I finally understood why I worked so hard and never got ahead.   I had been in network marketing as a stay at home mom, I sold cosmetics, kitchen goods, vitamins and other things. It was more of a hobby .  I had tried the party plan and MLM and it never worked, I thought these companies were a big pyramid, just a giant scam on hard working Americans….  if only I had known these steps back then, I would have realized, this could work even in that type of business. Real people could make a good income with very little overhead while building passive income.   As I reviewed the steps I pieced together, I remembered one time I had actually used one piece of the puzzle…..

I had quit that business after those few months, not even knowing what I had stumbled upon. I saw this pattern again in my life. Looking back,  I realized the reason I had seen quick success in real estate and investing  was also using bits of this system.   I looked at others who were seeing results, and realized they had also learned a few of these secrets. Finally, I looked over the entire formula, I saw that this could explode any opportunity that put the step-by-step into place.   As excited as I was to use this for myself and get my business going again, I kept meeting other families who were also unemployed, losing homes, struggling to pay bills and lost as to how to get through the economic downturn.

I spent weeks where I felt torn apart wondering if I should just focus on my business growth or help others learn these steps.  In the beginning of 2010, the answer came to me through many sources.  This was when I chose to  launch Workwithliz.com and the CashTodayClub.com.  I knew my mission was to help families start a business or help small business owners to make more money, work less, and get the economy moving forward for their family.   I started with those in network marketing and direct sales, also helped real estate and mortgage professionals, then realized even brick and mortar business would see results.  I developed over a dozen streams of income at the same time showing other business owners they could do that same.  Now I want to show you!!

What is this system?  How does it work?

There is some simple steps that anyone can put into their current business or use to start a business.  Results are rapid.   Many of these techniques can be done offline, but I have chosen to focus on training online and using a few offline hybrid techniques because the computer allows automation of many activities.   This allows you to save money and also save time.

The computer and internet can be scary and confusing, the techniques can be challenging to learn.  But, I will show you how to make it SUPER SIMPLE for anyone, in any business, to get on to the internet and start seeing results.
