After thousands of dollars wasted and hundreds of hours of mistakes, I finally have found some of the best tools online. Now you can see the tools I use to build my business.

DO NOT make the same mistake as me!

Here are just a few of my favorites, you may want to bookmark this page and save for future.

BLOGGING:

  • wordpress icons Liz RecommendsWordPress: This is the only blogging platform I recommend, best part is wordpress is FREE.  I get asked several times a week about other blogging software, designers or resources. The only blog you should have is a wordpress.org (self-hosted) blog, and this is the only one I recommend! Do not email asking about any other Free Blogging platforms or companies that offer other solutions. Watch my FREE Blog Training Video to see why and learn more about WordPress    WordPress is included in most hosting plans, see my hosting plan below.  It is one-click installation.  No need to spend time on WordPress.org trying to figure out how to download and install.  Just get a host that includes this.
  • WordPress Plug-ins: Download plugins, widgets, and other customizable elements to enhance and personalize your blog

Hostgator: The best hosting online!!

  • I shopped around and tried many different hosting accounts. Trust me when I tell you there is no one like HostGator.com.  Most of the top online marketing experts recommend this service. 
  • I have wasted money trying to find cheaper or better, and even after wasting more money, it still did not compare with HostGator.com
  • NOTE: Make sure you get unlimited domain hosting and unlimited subdomains. I spend less than $10 a month and host all my accounts. THE BEST BARGAIN ONLINE!!

Online File Storage Amazon S3:  Are you looking for a way to store audios/videos and other files that you may not want public on the internet?  Have a membership site and need to store downloads? The Amazon Simple Storage Service. Reliable internet storage, which is great for putting large files like podcasts and videos, so you don’t create bandwidth problems on your own website.

 

Email Subscriptions and Auto-responder Marketing

Choosing an Auto-responder can be one of the most important decisions you make in your business.  The company you choose will effect opt-ins, open rates, and simplicity for building relationships.  There is a few services I recommend:—————————————-

 

If you want the best of the best: Office Auto Pilot is a system that does it all for you.  They include wordpress squeeze pages, autoresponder, shopping cart affiliate program and everything you could need to get your business set-up properly.  The best part is it is all under one roof!   For those who ask, this is better than infusionsoft.   I do not recommend infusionsoft for anyone who does not have advanced techy skills or a staff to help with the systems.   Infusionsoft is difficult to set up and maintain.   Once I discovered Office Auto Pilot I realized there was a way to get all that infusionsoft offered, plus additional products at no extra cost.  This is a better service, and saves money!  Check it out and give it a try, you will be so glad you switched to the best!

Aweber: I have personally used aweber for years and this is the service I recommend for everyone. The cost is so tiny compared to the return. If you are not seeing results in your business. The first step is to set up your aweber autoresponder. All of the training that I have brings you back to building your list. This is your first step. To check out aweber click here

    • GetResponse: I kept hearing from my clients that they were looking for another option to aweber. I tested and tried many of the other email programs out there. And the only other service I would recommend would be GetResponse. Outsourcing:

  • Elance: Hired service for just about anything you can think of.
  • Odesk: Another outsource website for freelancers, IT companies, programmers and web designers from abroad.
  • 99Designs: This is a unique website that you can use if you need a logo design. It’s in a contest format. You submit the description of what you want, and designers will compete against each other to win money.
  • Fiverr.com :  This unique site is a place that people bid to work for only $5.  You can get a video intro, pictures turned into graphics, header design or many other options.  Check it out and you might be surprised what you can get for only $5
